A wrong number turns into a conversation between two strangers…and continues indefinitely.

Jules & James is a weekly, half hour podcast; a narrative fiction between two artists connected by fate. One part Before Sunrise, one part Griffin & Sabine, Jules & James captures the charm of falling in love with the unknown.

Jules is a British writer and director who’s currently making a film in London. James is an American who’s given-up his 9-to-5 life in the states to become a painter living in Paris. Through a misdialed phone number, these two young artists connect and decide to continue a conversation that started by chance. During weekly calls, Jules and James talk about their lives, their dreams for the future, the world around them and everything else that the comfort of speaking to a stranger allows you to reveal.

Jules & James is more than a podcast; we’re going to create a fully immersive, multimedia production that extends across platforms. In addition to the podcast, we’re going to build out identities for the characters that can be followed online. Listeners will be able to peek into the lives of the characters and interact with them, as well. As the story progresses, we’ll shift the characters from voices over the phone to in-person meetings with London and Paris as the backdrop for an on-going tale winding it’s way through reality.
